About KIPI

For the 10th time, PPI Australia proudly hosts KIPI 2025, the largest International Conference of Indonesian Students in Australia.

KIPI (Konferensi Internasional Pelajar Indonesia) is a prestigious global platform where Indonesian students, researchers, and policy thinkers from around the world converge to present cutting-edge research, share policy innovations, and co-create solutions to pressing national and regional challenges.

Following the resounding success of KIPI 2024 in Sydney, which brought together 300+ participants, 50+ oral presenters, and 15 world-renowned speakers, KIPI 2025 aims to be even bigger, more inclusive, and more impactful.
KIPI 2025 will be held at Sydney Myer Asia Centre, University of Melbourne, Australia, on July 12-13, 2025.

KIPI Hackaton Competition
KIPI Hackathons is side event of KIPI. We invite individual or team participants to develop empathetic and innovative solutions around:

– Climate Resilience and Adaptation
– Urban Resilience and Infrastructure
– Community Engagement and Education
– Digital Inclusivity for Disaster Preparedness.

The KIPI Hackathon aims to cultivate a culture of multidisciplinary thinking
among Indonesian undergraduate students by providing a platform that blends science, technology, engineering, arts, and humanities (STEAM). Through the power of storytelling and human-centred design, participants are invited to solve problems and understand the lived experiences of affected communities. KIPI Hackathon fosters innovation that is not only technically feasible but also socially and emotionally resonant. Therefore, this hackathon supports Indonesia’s sustainable transition by inspiring a new generation of changemakers to lead with curiosity, collaboration, and compassion.
